Nelson Mandela House In Peckham.

These are the real life flats that are on Only Fools And Horses it’s Called Nelson Mandela House. It’s where Only Fool’s And Horses was filmed and it was also made for the Only Fools And Horses studio to. Nelson Mandela House is the fictional towerblock on the fictional Nyrere Estate in the real life London district of Peckham, SE15. The Trotters flat is on the 12th floor and has housed members of the Trotter family since the towerblocks were built in 1960, save for 5 years from late 1996 to mid 2001 when the Trotters were millionaires before losing their money in true plonker style when their dodgy stock market crashed and they lost all their investments. As of 2014, the Trotters still live at their 12th floor flat. Before the towerblock and its neighbouring towerblocks Zimbabwe House and Desmond Tutu House were built, the land had a huge ammunitions factory on it. That was demolished and construction of the towerblocks began in 1959. In June 1960, when the towerblocks were still being built, Joan Mavis Trotter applied to a flat there as she was pregnant. The towerblocks were completed in late summer 1960.

The towerblock opened in September 1960 and was originally called Sir Walter Raleigh House. As Joan Mavis Trotter was pregnant, she was entitled to apply for one of the flats. They were given a 12th floor flatwith good views over London – more towerblocks.

Joan died in 1964 after alcohol abuse and their flat was not as well looked after. After the Trotters became rich and left London, their flat stayed empty for 5 years. Del let the estate agent have the carpet but never put the flat on the market.

The Fall 2013.

I have just finished watching The Television series The Fall on Netflix I’ve just finished watching the first season season one so I’ll be watching season two the next time I watch it again. It’s really good I love it I’m really looking forward to watching the second season of it. The series premiered in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland on RTÉ One on 12 May 2013, and in the United Kingdom on BBC Two on 13 May 2013. The second series began in the Republic of Ireland on 9 November and in the UK on 13 November 2014. The third series premiered on RTÉ One on 25 September and on BBC Two on 29 September 2016. Cubitt said that he originally was researching another show he was planning on writing and read a book on the BTK (“Bind, Torture, Kill”) serial killerDennis Rader. Cubitt found the structure of the book intriguing, which began with a look at the BTK Killer’s attack that was possible because of Rader’s testimony, his documentary evidence and the extensive forensic evidence that was gathered from the scene of the crime. Cubitt created a structure where the killer is identified immediately, eliminating the whodunit aspect of many stories. The focus could then become the motives for the killings and on the insights that might be gained about the psychology of the killer, even in the face of what might be considered a normal, functioning person with a job, wife and children. Cubitt said this was the starting point that interested him: how this supposedly normally functioning person would then be connected to the crimes. On 3 February 2012, BBC Two picked up The Fallseries with a five episode order.[6][7] The series was written by Allan Cubitt and produced for BBC Two by Artists Studio and BBC Northern Ireland, with funding from Northern Ireland Screen and the European Regional Development Fund. Gub Neal and Julian Stevens produced, with Cubitt, Justin Thomson-Glover, Patrick Irwin, and Stephen Wright serving as executive producers. Jakob Verbruggen directed the first series.[9] Cubitt cast Gillian Anderson first, then cast Jamie Dornan. The series premiered in the Republic of Ireland on RTÉ One on 12 May 2013,[1] and in the UK on BBC Two on 13 May 2013.[

Actor Peter Amory AKA Classic Emmerdale,s Chris Tate.

Peter Amory AKA Chris Tate is my most favourite bad guy actors from Classic Emmerdale I love the part he use to play on Emmerdale years ago when I was younger he was one of the top Emmerdale bad guys. Initially a decent man, Chris was left permanently resentful of his life after a plane crash in December 1993 left him paralysed from the waist down. His storylines on the show included his numerous feuds, including one with his father Frank; a longstanding rivalry with his stepmother Kim; and his marriages with local villager Kathy Glover (Malandra Burrows), her best-friend Rachel Hughes (Glenda McKay), and scheming businesswoman Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Towards the end of his story arc, Chris learned that he had an inoperable brain tumour and used this opportunity to get revenge on Charity for cheating on him with her cousin Cain (Jeff Hordley). After wasting all of his money to ensure that Charity would be left with nothing, Chris committed suicide to frame her for his “murder” — with the character making his final appearance on 18 September 2003 as a corpse following his death an episode earlier. This was all storylined not real life it was all Emmerdale storyline.

Online Week week begining 19th October.

The UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign – takes place each October and is coordinated and delivered by Good Things Foundation

Get Online Week was established in October 2007 when what was then UK online centres chose to bring digital inclusion to national attention. Since then the campaign has grown into a week-long annual celebration, with thousands of events taking place each year in centres and more unusual locations, bringing digital skills and know-how to everyone.

Our project will be creating opportunities for our residents faced with the challenges of digital transformation to talk to our volunteer Online Chum Mentors about their role in both addressing social isolation and how they can peer support individuals to take control over day-to-day digital tasks that many take for granted.

Many of our members are vulnerable whether it is Learning Disability, mental heath, digital poverty or personal characteristics that increases dependency on others for help is accessing socially essential services.

To connect with us you can access our member designed website, where you can contact our project. This will be monitored by our volunteer Online Chums who will answer any questions you have about how we can help you. Of course we are acutley aware that even accessing a website is too much for many, which is why we are also making sure more traditional forms of communication are available i.e., telephone contact.

We also want local social support agencies to register an interest so that they to can alert those individuals they feel would benefit from the help on offer.

Are You Being Accepted or Only Tolerated? — Chateau Cherie

Tolerance and acceptance are two very different meanings. Using language to undress a problem goes a long way to protecting yourself. One thing bullies don’t have in their armoury!

Cheriewhite

When people talk of tolerance, I immediately cringe. I don’t find the word very attractive because let’s be real here. The word itself has an ugly ring to it. To put it bluntly, it sounds downright gross! Sadly, many targets of bullying are so afraid of being alone that they settle for friends who aren’t […]
