This is what Whitley Bay Seafront was like in the 1950s and throughout the 50s before I was born and years and years before I was born to. The Beach was also very busy back then to and it was always really busy in the summer and in the summer holidays.
I was a litttle to young to remeber how it was like such a long time ago.

What is often said about studying history is that the past shapes your future!

When I was very young we used to go to Whitley Bay on Trips for special occasions. Community Centre Outings. Sunday School Treats. I always had fun and it seemed so far away then. One of my friends has just been last week to a caravan at Whitley Bay and thoroughly enjoyed it.
