This is the old outdoor swimming pool in Tynemouth in 1966 it was here years before I was born and it use to be very popular all the time. People use to come from all over just to use it and people use to travel really far and long way just to come to Tynemouth and use the pool in the 60,s and throughout the 1960,s all the time.

I understand the pool does now not exist? Can you tell where it was located since it as closed?

Yh it’s on the Seafront Bob it’s the opposite side from where the park is it’s down from South Parade when I use to go when I use to go to The Deep Disco years ago when I was younger.
