One of my favourite television series is back on the telly on BBC2 it’s Great British Railway Journeys. It’s a new series The series features Portillo travelling around the railway networks of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man, referring to Bradshaw’s Guide and comparing how the various destinations have changed since; initially, he used an 1840s copy, but in later series he used other editions.

Yh I know he has loads of them Bob he wears one on every episode of Great British Railway Journeys.

He is knowledgable about such matters, and is quite a likeable chap, although when he was a politician he was a bit of a hard nose when it came to debatting pariamentary isssues.

Yes, and very fancy they are too. I have a stripped blazer in cold storage. Have not worn it for many a good year.
