I really enjoyed watching this tv series on Netflix on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s night I thought it was very good. It is The Great Train Robbery it is from 2013 it came out and was released on the 18th and 19th December 2013 eleven years ago when I was twenty seven when I was in my late twenties when I was younger. A Robber’s Tale is set between November 1962 and the aftermath of the Great Train Robbery on 8th August 1963. It begins in November 62 at London Heathrow Airport where an earlier robbery took place, Bruce Reynolds (Luke Evans) then gathered a group of men to target the Royal Mail train heading between Glasgow and London.

One of the original gang of train robbers lived in Stanhope Castle in Weardale. Just worked across the road from the castle at the Weardale Centre. Can’t remember his name now, but guess he may well be deceased now as it was quite a few years ago.

I never knew that Bob did you use to know him when you lived in Weardale I didn’t know he came from over here in The North East that’s very interesting it’ll be interesting to know where he is now.

I am guessing he has died by now as this was late 90’s early 2000’s and he was already aged back then. I cna’t remember his name, but if you Google the gang members I am pretty sure I would recognise the name.

That’s probably right Bob he probably is dead now with it all happening in the 60s and throughout the 1960’s.
